Chorus: Nobody gets too much heaven no more. It's much harder to come by; I'm waiting in line. Nobody gets too much love anymore. It's as high as a mountain and harder to climb.
Ooh, you and me, girl, got a lot of love in store. And it flows to you, and it flows to me, And I love you so much more. Then my life: I can see beyond forever. Everything we are will never die. Love is such a beautiful thing. Oh. you make my world a summer day. Are you just a dream to fade away?
*Chorus
You and me, girl, got a highway to the sky. We can turn away from the night and day And the tears we had to cry. You're my life; I can see a new tomorrow. Everything we are will never die. Love is such a beautiful thing When you are to me the light above Made for all to see our precious love.
*Chorus
Love is such a beautiful thing. You make my world a summer day. Are you just a dream to fade away?
Nobody gets too much heaven no more. It's much harder to come by; I'm waiting in line. Nobody gets too much love anymore. It's as wide as a river and harder to cross.
He knows these words, if said, will bring about a change of two lives... ... but the short-lived bliss that is to ensue is not worth the many months, even years, of mental torture being physically away from each other.
In the most unlikely of circumstances, they found each other. The most unlikely place, perhaps. She was brought there by the simple passion for travel. He was brought there by chance. He arrived defeated in morale, for amidst all advice not to go, he persuaded himself to accompany his best mate for that presumably once-in-a-lifetime trip. Little did he know, that what was right around the corner, would be a gem, an individual so similar to himself. It started with a coin-trick he picked up on the trip - and the surprisingly "friendly as if they have known each other all their lives" conversation they shared after dinner. The acquisition of phone number did the rest.
The couple of months that followed was a process of discovery. The meeting-up, this time planned, went beautifully. He and she knew right there and then there is something more.
Currently blogging from SS2, Petaling Jaya. The past week has been memorable, quick and eventful. Well, not quite, but I went to Perth for just over 5 days, living with my Granduncle. Mom and Dad went to Perth for the 1st time, so Granduncle, Grandauntie and I brought them around, showing them around the city I have lived for the past 5 years. It was a rewarding experience showing them the place I have come to know so well.

Among the things we did include driving along the scenic West Coast Highway, going to King's Park at night, visiting places like Mandurah, Cottesloe and Subi... etc. Not going to detail every mini trip that we made, but yea it was good to be back in Perth. I got to dress up too, for my graduation ceremony! ... I present to you...
(Above) All dressed up.
Graduation ceremony was held on the 11th of March - a Tuesday. The regalia was hired for a whopping AU$85.00. For pic of the regalia, see pic below. Dad dressed up for the event as well, which was, with all due respect, an exceptionally rare thing.

More pictures from the graduation will be posted up as soon as the studio pics get sent to me! Bloody expensive pics as well mind if I add, but the quality is top notch... so "bo ho hiam" really. Early on the 14th we departed Perth to spend over a day at Singapore. Met up with sis and Uncle How-Chiat, the latter briefly. Went to quite a few places during my short stay there, but the highlight must be the Japanese food at Wasabi Japanese Restaurant at Causeway Point. The Sushi Platter, costing S$18.90, was kick-ass good.

Alright, Lionel is pestering me to get ready so we can go out... for food or what not. Lawrence's car is a real blessing for we do not have to take the taxi like previously! Lawrence's house also means we do not have to live in a hotel! Great stuff, I say.
Will blog further when I get the chance to upload more pictures from my mobile phone. Going up to Genting tomorrow.
I am flying off to Perth today. Will not be able to blog for a while. Picking up my regalia, and a letter from the Law Office, on Monday. Graduation ceremony is on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday will be spent taking my parents around Perth. Friday and Saturday will be spent in Singapore. Sunday I will be in KL with Lionel until the next Sunday. Heading up to Genting in between.
